These terms explain the personal license to use One God, the limits of religious and third-party content, and the additional rules that apply when the app is obtained from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and 4AM TECH IO PRIVATE LIMITED, referred to here as 4AM Tech, for use of the One God mobile application. The current version is published at https://onegod.pro/terms. By downloading, opening or using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are not legally able to accept these terms, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.
One God is a free, guest-first Quran, Hadith, Names of Allah, Dhikr and Quran-audio experience. The current release has no login, advertising, subscription or paywall. We may improve, add, remove or change features in future releases, subject to applicable law and any notice that is required.
4AM Tech grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices that you own or control for personal, lawful and non-commercial purposes. The app is licensed, not sold. This license does not transfer ownership of the app, its design, code or content rights.
You are responsible for using One God lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
The Arabic Quran text, translations, transliteration, Hadith, Names of Allah and Dhikr material are presented from the sources identified inside the app. Translations are human interpretations of meaning and do not replace the Arabic Quran. Source-linked Ayah explanations marked as drafts remain pending independent qualified scholar review and are not represented as scholar-approved. Always consult the named source and a qualified scholar for religious rulings, disputes or important personal decisions.
One God supports personal reading, listening, remembrance and education. It is not a substitute for qualified religious, legal, medical, financial or mental-health advice. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for an urgent, legal or safety-critical decision.
Quran text, translations, Hadith material, recitations, names, supplications and other attributed material remain subject to the rights and reuse terms of their respective authors, translators, publishers, reciters and providers. Source and verification details are shown in Settings and Sources. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of third-party content or permission beyond the rights given by the relevant rights holder.
The bundled religious content in this release comes from the sources named below and inside Settings and Sources. Each remains the work of its own publisher, translator or compiler.
Quran audio is delivered by Al Quran Cloud and the Islamic Network CDN. Availability, quality, catalog entries and rights may change at the provider’s request. You may stream audio and keep user-selected Surah files inside the app for personal offline listening. You may not extract, redistribute, sell or commercially exploit audio unless the relevant rights holder separately permits it. Internet and mobile data charges are your responsibility.
Bookmarks, reading position, Dhikr counts, preferences and offline audio are stored locally. You are responsible for your device, backups and any loss caused by clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, changing devices or a device failure. There is no account-based recovery in the current release.
We aim to keep core local features available, but do not promise that every feature, source or audio stream will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, provider changes, legal requests, security issues or events outside our control may affect availability. We may suspend or end access to a feature or terminate this license for a serious breach of these terms. On termination, stop using and delete the app. Provisions that by nature should continue will survive termination.
You may send support requests or feedback to director@4amtech.com. You keep ownership of your original feedback, but grant 4AM Tech a worldwide, royalty-free right to use non-confidential suggestions to improve the app. Do not include confidential material or content you do not have permission to share.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. 4AM Tech disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 4AM Tech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of data, use, profit or opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the app. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including rights available under mandatory consumer law.
If you obtained One God through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store usage rules also apply. This agreement is between you and 4AM Tech, not Apple. 4AM Tech is responsible for the app, maintenance, support and claims to the extent required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, with the right to enforce the applicable app-license terms against you.
If you obtained One God through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service and applicable Google Play policies also apply. This agreement is between you and 4AM Tech, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app’s maintenance, support, content or claims except where applicable law or Google’s own terms state otherwise.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India may hear disputes. This section does not remove mandatory consumer protections, privacy rights or a right to bring a claim in another forum that your local law does not allow you to waive.
We may update these terms when features, providers or law change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will receive notice where required. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These terms, the Privacy Policy and mandatory app-store terms form the agreement for use of One God.
